Welcome Letter

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to join us at the 7th Networking Anesthesia Convention (NWAC), which will be held in New York, April 20th – 23rd 2016. NWAC is a professional anesthesiology organization of global reach, distinguished by unique transparency, philanthropic orientation, and a culture firmly embedded in education and networking.

NWAC is very proud of its loyal following of anesthesiologists from around the world. Many of them see our annual meeting as their preferred CME event because of the friendly, collegial atmosphere, the very high scientific standard and strong practical emphasis offered by the of the numerous workshops. As in past years the Educational Scholar Outreach Program (ESOP) will provide NWAC-subsidized scholarships to allow up-and-coming educators, academics and young investigators from the developing world to attend the convention in 2016.

NWAC is truly international: we have hosted delegates, faculty and scholars from nearly 100 different countries in the past five years.

The 7th Networking World Anesthesia Convention has its focus on “What’s New by Who is Who in Anesthesiology: A Year in Review”. The multidisciplinary faculty will feature some of the most prominent names in anesthesiology and critical care. They will deliver a packed didactic and interactive curriculum that

  • provides delegates with a cutting edge overview over the latest developments in anesthesiology and associated specialties
  • offers numerous hands-on workshops, many of which have been endorsed by international societies and offer certification
  • initiates collaboration among researchers, educators, practitioners, professional societies and industry
  • promotes insights into creating and maintaining a value based environment in which to deliver anesthesiology, pain management and critical care services
The program will cover diverse fields such as airway management, pain medicine, regional, obstetric and cardiac anesthesia, as well as trauma and ICU. 400 scientific abstracts will stimulate further discussion.

NWAC’s fabled Melting Pot and a range of exciting social events will round up the program to foster networking and to help building relationships.

We look forward to seeing you in New York City.
